When you’re traveling to fish with Reel Deal Anglers in the Pinedale area we have a lot of folks asking what their options are for getting here. Driving it’s about 5 hours from Salt Lake City, 8-9 hours from Denver and 1.5 hours from Jackson Hole. If you’re flying in commercially, Pinedale is 77 miles south of Jackson Hole, 90 miles north of Rock Springs, Wyoming and the Salt Lake City airport is 250 miles. If you’re you’re flying in privately, there are several great options. Salt Lake has the best selection of flights and times, Rock Springs is United only right now and Jackson’s flights are plentiful and pricey during the tourist seasons.
If you fly directly into Pinedale, the field is called Ralph Wentz and is very near the New Fork River. We can have you out of the plane and into the water in 15 minutes! When flying into the Big Piney Airport, we can get to the Green River in about 15-20 minutes as well.
