Guided Fly Fishing Trips on the Snake River

The Snake River runs through the heart of Jackson Hole, and there’s a reason it’s considered one of the most iconic fly fishing rivers in the American West. Cold, clear water tumbling out of the Tetons. Cutthroat trout that rise hard to a well-presented dry fly. Elk on the bank, bald eagles overhead, and the occasional moose crashing through the willows. It’s the kind of day on the water that reminds you why you picked up a fly rod in the first place.

At Reel Deal Anglers, we guide this river every day from March through October. Our trips are built around the Snake River fine-spotted cutthroat, a native subspecies found almost nowhere else. These fish are aggressive, willing to come to the surface, and forgiving enough for a first-timer, yet technical enough to keep an experienced angler honest. We read the water, adjust the approach based on what the fish are doing that day, and put you in position to hook up.

Every trip runs out of a high-end drift boat with a professional guide on the oars. Whether you’re here for your first-ever fly fishing experience or you’ve chased trout across the West for thirty years, we tailor the day to you. Reel Deal Anglers is a Teton County Wyoming approved Snake River Outfitter, fully permitted to guide the waters we fish.
