Hello:
Fontenelle Reservoir is currently at elevation 6502.9 ft (93% full) and releases are approximately 6,200 cfs. The current rate of inflow is roughly 3,900 cubic feet per second (cfs) and decreasing.
Fontenelle will be operated to accommodate the decreasing snowmelt runoff.
Therefore, tomorrow, Wednesday, June 21, 2016, at 8:00 a.m., releases from Fontenelle will be decreased to 1,500 cfs according to the following schedule:
After the final change at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016, releases will remain 1,500 cfs until further notice. All times identified are local time (Mountain Prevailing Time) and not hour ending.
Please note: performance testing and maintenance will be occurring this week and additional fluctuations in the river may be seen.
Kind regards,
Heather
