Fontenelle Reservoir is at elevation 6499.8 ft (86% full) and declining. Releases will be reduced to 2,900 cfs by the end of the day. Additional information regarding the current status of Fontenelle Reservoir can be found on the Reclamation website.
Spring runoff has peaked and reservoir inflows continue to decline. The current rate of inflow is roughly 2,000 cubic feet per second (cfs), with recent daily averages ranging from 2,240 cfs to 3,680 cfs. Weather conditions are expected to be warm and relatively dry for the next two weeks. Fontenelle will be operated to accommodate the current hydrologic conditions.
Beginning Monday, July 6th, 2015, at 8:00 a.m., releases from Fontenelle will be decreased to power plant capacity (approximately 1,700 cfs) according to the following schedule:
