The Green River Fishing Report near Pinedale Wyoming is quoted below from the Wyoming Game and Fish Dept.

“We completed work on the Green from Huston’s to Sommers earlier this fall.  Numbers were down a little from 2010 (from 600/mile to 430/mile), but 400 is the historic average so we are back to where we usually are.

We tried another reach up above the forest boundary later in September and couldn’t complete the work due to all the water we got so will postpone until next year.”

This is great news because the waters levels got very low and slow in late August and if it hadn’t have rained and cooled off in September the depredation could have been catastrophic.
