I very much enjoyed my trip w/ Reel Deal and am looking forward to our group being able to come out next year. Zack did a terrific job of finding fish and gave me the opportunity to catch some fine Cutthroat (one of trophy dimensions – unfortunately, I set the hook too hard and broke him off). Still a good story, though.

Dear A.J., Dutch, Wayne, Marc, Rhett, Terry, John, Mike, and Bryan,
Words are inadequate to express how deeply we appreciate your taking our disabled veterans on the fishing trip of a lifetime. This session was one of the most intense and emotional ones so far. I don't think it is an understatement to say these guys have broken lives and lost souls. When you hear the mental hell and anguish our disabled veterans are in, never mind their physical disabilities, it really tears the heart out. The physical wounds can be seen and acknowledged, but the mental ones that are hidden from the world are swallowing these fine young men alive. We are helping by giving them a lifeline, so this work is a lot more than just great times. Our military has trained these soldiers to kill, but then when their lives are broken and they come back home disabled, our veterans are not taught how to turn that switch off. They are ashamed of what they did, but at the same time they are proud they served their country. They are haunted knowing they couldn't save their fellow soldiers, and they want to go back, but they can't. They are torn and altered, all they want to do is get back to a normal life, but it isn't happening, and sadly probably never will. Teaching them how to fly fish has provided them with a tool they can use to improve their quality of life. I will forever be grateful to all of you for the gift of hope you have given our veterans.
Love to each and every one of you for the fantastic gentlemen you are,
Sandra Bockman

Rhett,
Just wanted to say thank you for great trip that my son and I recently
had. My son Sean caught his first couple of trout and I think will
want to fly fish for life. Zach was a great guide.

Rhett,
We just got off the Snake this afternoon and we had a wonderful day of fishing. We lost count of the fish we caught and the number of strikes was excellent.
Tim is an excellent guide. He was on time; he was very courteous and instructive. He put us on fish all day and helped with our efficiency. He was very patient with our rusty fly-fishing techniques and was very helpful with keeping our flies in the water. He stopped at a productive place for lunch while he fixed an excellent meal for us. He was enthusiastic, had a wonderful sense of humor and was very encouraging all day.
We appreciate your responses during the booking process with prompt replies to our questions. I appreciated that there were no nickel and dime issues.
We had a great time and really appreciated the experience. We have already recommended Reel Deal guide service to some locals.

I have to tell you we had a great vacation thanks to great people like you. I sure am glad I can persuade my family to go fishing.
Daniel's fish grew about 3 inches a day and I finally had to call him on embellishing his fish stories. He talks everyday about something that happened on that trip. Beth said I should have tipped you triple for your being so patient with him.
You did a great job for us and we all truly appreciate it.
Good luck, don't forget to mend.

Rhett and Quincy,
Thank you for a fantastic day on the Snake yesterday. Beautiful fish on the "hell-toad" fly!?! What a learning, eye-opening experience for both of us. Jerry and I can't imagine we will not include as part of our adventures out here.
Thanks again.
Best,
Graeme

I hope to see you again very soon for an extended fishing trip in Jackson, or even possibly Argentina/Chile!
Take care,

I just wanted to write and tell you how much we enjoyed our fishing trip
with Quincy. She is a delightful person and an excellent fishing guide. It
is incredible how she can handle a boat. She made the trip everything I had
wanted. We had a great time. I am so glad to have had the opportunity to go
fishing on the Snake River. I loved the fly fishing! It was one of my to do
things before I move on from this world.
Thanks again for everything!

Hi Rhett,
Sorry we didn't have a chance to meet but wanted you to know how much my wife and I enjoyed our trip with your guide, Quincy Liby. Quincy far exceeded our expectations. As you already know, Quincy combines a personal and professional style that is friendly, knowledgeable, considerate and refreshingly direct. She never slacked for even a moment in her efforts to deliver a wonderful experience and she gently helped both of us to improve our fishing/drift boat techniques. Thanks to you and especially Quincy - we hope to fish with her and Reel Deal again.
Best regards,

"They are the Reel Deal"
Had the pleasure to fish [with] my guide Dave Jacquith for another one of my dream trips fly fishing. To say the least, the beauty of this place is spectacular, and to catch fish is icing on the cake. And oh yeah, we caught fish. I did not expect to catch fish over 20" especially cutthroat and rainbows and we did just that. The variety of wading and floating kept things very interesting and Dave pushed me to my physical limits which was another one of my goals while I was here. I was able to learn a lot from him in regards to streamer fishing, and multiple types of setups for different types of streams and circumstances. It was really nice to not have to tie a fly or flies, take out wind knots, or even think about doing anything but picking up the fly rod and casting, casting, and more casting. He actually had to supply me with some band aids to cover up the blisters, which didn't slow me down a bit!
Dave worked harder than any guide I have fished with as he was always on the move to make the best of our day. He always got me set up in the right positions while on the boat to try and get that perfect cast a few inches next to the banks, and while wading and walking to the honey holes I could tell he always had my best interest in mind to set me up with that perfect fly, strategizing my every move before I was able to set the hook on that 22" cutty slurping down flies on the bank of fish creek, changing flies whenever he felt it was needed, rowing the drift boat for 3-4 miles while trying to get that beautiful rainbow up and netted for another awesome picture. The cooking on the grill during lunch streamside with Bison burgers and Elk burgers were the best, amongst the other deli foods that we ate. Just a few of the advantages to having a great guide and outfitter to make dreams come true, and it did for me!

Just wanted to let you know that we had a great day fishing. Jason did a great job helping me catch fish. He also helped my brother learn to fly fish. I guess too good... in that he caught more fish than me. I had a great time & enjoyed fishing.

My wife and I booked a trip with Reel Deal Anglers last July to float the Snake River. Unfortunately, the temperature was in the high 90's all week and the fishing turned off just about everywhere due to the heat. That's fishing. However, because Rhett Bain (RDA owner) has access to the best private water in the area, we had one of the best days of fishing of our lives. The spring creeks on this ranch were a constant temperature, regardless of the heat, and we hammered 16-20" Cutts on dries for about 3-4 hours. Following a great mid-day of fishing, the grill was fired up and we ate Bison Burgers (which I would highly recommend) and enjoyed a few cold beverages right next to the stream. What a day! We'll be back not only to hit those spring creeks again but to float the Snake with Rhett, who is one of the most knowledgeable and fun guides we've ever had the pleasure of fishing with.

I've fished with Rhett and the Reel Deal guides in the Jackson Hole area, Idaho
and Argentina and they’re the best I've seen. They're talented, knowledgeable, fun to be with and great with anglers
from beginners to experts. They also have access to some of the best water I've fished. The combination of great people
and great water makes for a memorable trip every time.

Rhett,
What a great show
your guys put together, we had an absolute
blast. A lot of us had never been fly fishing
before and we have been talking about how much
fun we had with your crew. Thanks again for all
your help setting this up and I promise Real
Deal has some new fans in Austin, Texas.
Congrats on your wedding and look forward to
doing it sometime in the future.

Rhett,
Wanted to thank you for a great trip on Fish Creek. I
caught so many fish in the 16" to 22" range that I
lost count and landed at least 3 over 20" to a sweet PMD hatch. Per our conversation earlier the fishing
shut right down in the afternoon. I don't know how you
have the access rights but god love ya!
My guide Kevin Mock did a great job and made the day
fun. He cooked up a great lunch and was very
enthusiastic. I was a bit taken back that he had only
fished the creek 4 times prior but with more
experience he will be an excellent guide in the
future. Thanks again and you have won a future client
for sure.
Thanks,
Chris Zando
